Abstract:
To provide a production method of a hydrogenation catalyst for a hydrocarbon oil higher in a yield of that catalyst than a conventional method.SOLUTION: There is disclosed, a production method of a hydrogenation catalyst for a hydrocarbon oil in which at least one metal selected from the group VI metals in a periodic table, of 5-35 mass% in oxide conversion in a catalyst standard, and at least one metal selected from the group IX and X metals in the above table, of 1-18 mass% in oxide conversion in the catalyst standard, are carried on an alumina support. The method includes carrying out one or more times, a metal carrying process of making at least one metal selected from the group VI, IX and X metals of 0.5 mass% or more in total sum, in oxide conversion in the catalyst standard carry on a catalyst precursor on which at least one metal selected from the group VI, IX and X metals is carried.SELECTED DRAWING: None
