Abstract:
To provide: a method for producing a pure and long yarn of a bagworm, which does not contain foreign matters such as folia and twigs; and an apparatus for achieving the method.SOLUTION: A method for producing a long yarn of a bagworm includes: a spinning step of making the bagworm spin continuously along a linear route L by locking legs FL, ML, and RL of the bagworm holding a nest, the linear route L having a width φ of less than a maximum bilateral straddling width W2 of te bagworm to be used and capable of locking the legs thereof; and a collecting step of collecting a long yarn from the linear route after conducting the spinning step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
