Abstract:
To provide a recovering method of an organic acid that permits recovery of an organic acid in an undissociated state from a phase containing the organic acid.
A feed phase containing an organic acid in a dissociated state is brought into contact with an ionic liquid phase containing an ionic liquid while the ionic liquid phase is brought into contact with an acceptor phase having a liquid nature such that the acceptor phase can contain the organic acid in an undissociated state predominantly over the feed phase thereby to recover the organic acid in an undissociated state into the acceptor phase.
