Abstract:
PURPOSE: To speed up the production cycle and to improve the production efficiency by executing a forced cooling after formation of metallic films, then forming protective films.
CONSTITUTION: Moldings of disks are obtd. integrally with signal surfaces by an injection molding machine 11 and a metal mold device 12. These moldings are taken out of the metal mold cavities by a taking-up device 13 and are sent through a transfer device 15 to a metallic film forming device 14. The moldings of disks on which aluminum reflection films for reading signal are formed by this device 14, are moved again via the device 15 to a cooling station 16 where the moldings are forcibly cooled. Next, the protective films consisting of UV-curing resins are formed on the front surfaces of the metallic films of the moldings sent from this station 16 to a protective metal film forming device 17.
