PURPOSE: To provide the optical disk suitable for production dealing with a small quantity and diversified kinds of video sound software with a relatively simple process by forming a resin stamper by using a 2P transfer method from a master disk for mastering and forming a replica by using a 2P transfer method from the resin stamper.
CONSTITUTION: The so-called 2P transfer method using a cured photopolymer layer as a transfer layer is used in the process for producing the stamper. An information recording surface is transferred onto a glass disk 13 by the photopolymer agent 11 for the stamper with the silver coated master disk 3a for mastering as a forming mold. Not a nickle stamper but a resin stamper is molded. The 2P transfer device which executes the 2P transfer method is used and the operations from the solidifying of the master disk 3a for mastering to the taking out of the resin stamper 13a is automatically executed in the process for producing the resin stamper. A replica is formed by using the resulted resin stamper 13a as a forming mold. The process for forming the resin stamper and replica is simplified in this way and is suitable for the production dealing with the small quantity and diversified kinds of the video sound software.
