Abstract:

PURPOSE: To rationally set a recording layer on a substrate by previously forming a thin metallic Ag layer on the surface of the recording layer, putting the layers in a certain vacuum state before adhesion and press-bonding them when they are laminated on the grouped surface of the substrate.

CONSTITUTION: A recording layer is formed and set near a substrate by separate methods and an optical memory material of high accuracy is rationally produced. At this time, a highly reflective thin metallic Ag layer is previously formed on the surface of the recording layer with fine metallic Ag particles dispersed in a hydrophobic binder, the layers are put in a vacuum state under at least 50mmHg pressure before adhesion and they are press-bonded when they are laminated on the grouped surface of the substrate. The recording layer can be rationally set on the substrate of an optical disk.
