Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce discolored polyester fiber or moldings by forming fiber or moldings of polyester composition constituted of copolymerized polyester having a polyoxyalkylene chain in a molecule and a phosphorous ester-based antioxidant and heat-treating the same in the specified conditions.
CONSTITUTION: Copolymerized polyester having a polyoxyalkylene chain in a molecule is used. The copolymerized polyester has aromatic dicarboxylic acid-based substance as a main component. In addition thereto, dicarboxylic acid containing a small amount of dicarboxylic acid shown in a formula I, diol containing a part of diol shown in a formula II and the side chain forming component shown in a formula III are incorporated as the component of a raw material. In the formulas, Ar shows a trivalent aromatic group and M shows a metallic atom and A shows an ester forming functional group. (m) and (n) show 10-100. A phosphorous ester-based antioxidant is added to the copolymerized polyester and thereby fiber or moldings are formed and heat- treated at the temperature of 100°C or higher for at least 3 hours. In such a way, discolored fiber or the like is produced.
