Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for stably and inexpensively producing a low shrinkable polyester filament.
CONSTITUTION: The characteristic of this method for producing a polyester filament is to draw an undrawn polyester filament 1 at a prescribed temperature in a drawing treatment region D, thermally treat the drawn filament Y with a crape-finishing drawing roller 5 heated at a higher temperature than the drawing temperature, and to subsequently subject the drawn filament to a relaxation treatment set to a relaxation constant (r) of 1-6%.
