PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain the dressing article completely fitted to the size and shape of an individual object by manufacturing a dressing article by using the forming technique of a die.

CONSTITUTION: The nail desiring a die is pressed to the morden put into a case 2 to make a positive die 1 made of and separately a melot metal is melted and poured into the metal made positive die 1. After cooling, the melot metal is taken out of the positive die 1 to obtain a melot metal made negative die 5 of a die. The positive die 5 is pressed to the surface of the material for the positive die with exerting a pressure to make a positive die 8. Then, the material becoming of an artificial nail is prepd. in the form of a thin plate 9, interposed between the melot metal made negative die 5 and positive die 8 and a pressure is exerted from the upper and lower parts to form an artificial nail rough plate. The excess part of this rough plate is removed by scissors, etc., and it is formed in a correct shape by embossing again. This artificial nail rough plate is ground to finish in an artificial nail.
