Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain raw silk having excellent elongation, by reeling cocoon silk yarn from a reeling tank, and collecting, winding and freezing the reeled yarns.
CONSTITUTION: Cocoon silk yarns are reeled from a reeling tank, collected, wound at a speed of usually ≤100m/min, and frozen. A raw silk having an elongation of usually 20W25% can be produced by thawing the frozen yarn.
