Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the resistance of an electric conductivity imparting film formed so as to carry out electroforming when a stamper for producing an optical recording medium is produced by electroforming.

CONSTITUTION: The peripheral edge part 4 of a cured resin layer 3 with a rugged pattern for recording information on a glass substrate 1 is tapered 8, an electric conductivity imparting film 5 of nickel is then formed by sputtering and electroforming is carried out using the film 5 as an electrode.
