PURPOSE: To easily form the optical disk substrate which is free from intrusion of bubbles by specifying the distance between the front end face of a dropping nozzle and a dropping surface to a specific value and dropping a radiation curing liquid resin, thereby forming the optical information recording medium substrate.
CONSTITUTION: The distance between the front end face of the nozzle and the dropping surface of the substrate or stamper, etc., is specified to ≤5mm and the radiation curing liquid resin is dropped from the dropping nozzle. The stamper or substrate is superposed thereon to spread the liquid resin, by which the rugged signal of the stamper are transferred. The resin is then irradiated with radiations to cure the resin and thereafter, the substrate is peeled from the stamper, by which the substrate for the optical recording medium formed with the rugged signals is formed. The optical disk substrate which is free from the intrusion of the bubbles has the good yield of formation and low error rate is easily produced by this forming method.
