Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a process and apparatus for producing a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric and a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric produced by the process, especially a method for arranging a T-die, a lamination unit and a laminating material feeder in-line and a method to quickly integrate a mesh nonwoven fabric with a laminating material at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: The objective process and apparatus for producing a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric and a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric produced by the process are characterized by the following constitution. A nonporous laminated nonwoven fabric 4A is formed by supplying a molten plastic through a T-die 16 of an extruder 15 to a porous mesh nonwoven fabric 4 produced by laminating a laterally drawn film 1 to a longitudinally drawn film 2 to integrate both films 1, 2 or by integrally laminating a molten plastic to a laminating material 18.
