PURPOSE: To enhance an adhesion property and rigidity by finishing the mating seams of metallic crowns and metallic caps enclosing the inner cases of blocks of a wrist watch band without joints.
CONSTITUTION: The metallic crown 30 of a shape fitting to the outside surface of the inner case 20 exclusive of its base 20a is fitted to the inner case 20 which is a core material of the block. The metallic cap 40 having nearly the same shape as that of the base opening of the metallic crown 30 fitted into the inner case 20 is then engaged with this base aperture and the mating part is brazed to the inner case 20. Finally, an external pressure is applied on mating part of the metallic crown 30 and the metallic cap 40 to tightly adhere both flush with each other. The spacing and irregularity in the mating part of the metallic crown 30 and the metallic cap 40 is eliminated and the bonding strength of the metallic crown 30 and the metallic cap 40 is enhanced. The reduction of initial costs is possible while a high-grade feel is obtd.
