Abstract:
To provide a projector, a color correction system, and a method for controlling the projector that accurately measure the color of image light to perform color correction of the image light.SOLUTION: A projector 100 comprises: a measuring unit 177 that measures the color of image light formed as an image on a projection surface 180 for a plurality of colors forming the RGB color system and a Z value of the XYZ color system; and a correction parameter creation unit 115 that creates a correction parameter on the basis of a first measurement value obtained by converting the measurement value of the colors of the RGB color system measured by the measuring unit 177 into the color of the XYZ color system, and a second measurement value of the XYZ color system measured by the measuring unit 177. The measuring unit 177 includes an optical filter having transmittance characteristics corresponding to the spectral characteristics of blue light in a wavelength region of color light in the RGB color system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
