Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection tube inserter configured to stably hold a protection tube without deforming it and smoothly move over connecting portions of different diameters by means of a single roller.SOLUTION: In a protection tube inserter 1, a guide part 2 of a protection tube 101 is formed substantially triangular, and a rail part 4 is provided at a lower edge 2a of the guide part 2. At a lower side of the rail part 4, parallel two lower end edges 4a are formed. A base part 6 is provided to reciprocate in parallel with the rail part 4. The base part 6 includes an elevating portion 12 which is capable of moving up and down to be contacted to and separated from the rail part 4. A swing arm part 8 in which a roller 10 is disposed in its distal end is pivoted on a head 12e of the elevating portion 12 so as to swing. The swing arm part 8 is energized in a swivel direction toward the rail part 4 by a coil spring 26. The roller 10 is a unidirectional rotation type capable of revolving only to a side opposite to the swivel direction of the energized swing arm part 8.
