Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite which comprises backing such as liquid crystalline substrate and transparent overcoat formed on the backing, there are few defects of the overcoat and smoothness is high.SOLUTION: Overcoat is formed on a backing through a spreading step and a drying step. In the spreading step, a spreading layer is formed by spreading an overcoat precursor liquid on the backing. The overcoat precursor liquid contains acetyl paramylum and organic solvent. It is preferable that the acetyl paramylum is acetylated paramylum derived from euglena. In the drying step, the organic solvent is removed from the spreading layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
