Abstract:

Cellulose pulp having a reduced tensile strength [sic] and excellent hydrophilic properties, which is prepared using a hydrophilic debonder of the general formula < IMAGE > in which: R1 denotes methyl, ethyl, propyl, hydrogen or hydroxyethyl, R2 denotes methyl, ethyl, propyl or (ethylene oxide)n, in which n represents an integer from 1 to 50, R3 denotes an aliphatic chain having at least 4 carbon atoms, R4 denotes (ethylene oxide)n or (propylene oxide)n, in which n represents an integer from 1 to 50 and X denotes Cl, I, Br, SO4, PO4 or CH3CO2.
