PURPOSE: To obtain a pulp suitable for paper making food vessels safe to human bodies and odorless by adding a fungicide of a pyridine derivative which is approved as a bulk by FDA.

CONSTITUTION: Wet pulp of about 50% water content is obtained by effecting oxygen bleaching, chlorine bleaching, alkali extraction, sodium hypochlorite treatment, hydrogen peroxide treatment and chlorine dioxide treatment in order. Then, a fungicide containing a pyridine derivative which is approved as a bulk by FDA is added to the wet pulp by spraying in an amount of 100ppm, preferably about 400ppm to give this pulp having antifungal pulp.
