Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a reliable circuit operation by reliably suppressing or reducing repetition frequency fluctuations, waveform separations and others due to noise superimposition.SOLUTION: A pulse generation circuit includes: a triangular wave generation circuit 100 configured to generate a triangular wave in a triangular wave timing capacitor 21; an offset circuit 300 configured to add an offset voltage to the triangular wave in the vicinity of charge/discharge changeovers of the triangular wave timing capacitor 21; and a PWM generating comparison circuit 200 for comparing an output of the offset circuit 300 with a desired voltage and generating a PWM signal depending on the result of comparison. This can produce a triangular wave with a voltage variation with respect to a time axis increased in each of the vicinity of an upper limit voltage and the vicinity of a lower limit voltage of the triangular wave to thereby ensure a noise-tolerant circuit operation.
