Abstract:
PURPOSE: To purify efficiently immunoglobulin M in high speed and purity.
CONSTITUTION: The immunoglobulin M alone can be selectively recovered in high efficiency by the following consecutive processes: (1) prior to chromatographic treatment, the nucleic acid in a liquid to be treated is removed, and (2) the resulting liquid's purification by affinity chromatography with protamine as immobilized phase on a high-performance affinity carrier with silica gel or a porous polymer as substrate.
