To provide a quick vise device with a good operability and excellent in durability and carry out the judgement of meshing and releasing easily and surely, without the sudden switching of a meshing state.

A moving vise is connected to the tip of a screw 12 and a subject member is push-pressed and fixed. A half nut 4 is positioned swingably around the swing shaft 3 on a base stand 2. A half nut screw part 4a meshed with the thread part 12a of the screw 12 is formed on the half nut 4. When the half nut 4 stays on the solid line position shown in Figure B, the thread part 12a of the screw 12 is meshed with the half nut screw part 4a. The screw 12 is moved in arrow marks 90, 91 direction following to the rotation of the screw 12. The position of the half nut 4 is maintained by the engagement of an engaging tip 9 with a base stand projection 2T.
