This rack for box-packing work is equipped with a rack main body 11, and roller shelves 12 and 13. In this case, the roller shelves 12 and 13 are arranged from the front surface side 10a to the rear surface side 10b of the rack main body 11, and a plurality of rollers 40 are provided in parallel in the longitudinal direction. Then, articles are housed from the upper end open section in a housing box 6 which is set on the front surface side 10a of the roller shelves 12 and 13. At the same time, the housing box 6 is carried to the rear surface side 10b by the roller shelves 12 and 13. Two rollers 40 which are adjacent in the longitudinal direction on the front side of the roller shelves 12 and 13 are arranged while placing a specified interval in the longitudinal direction. The housing box 6 is held under a forward tilted posture in such a manner that the front surface and the bottom surface of the housing box 6 are respectively stopped by respective rollers 40 under a state wherein the front section lower end of the housing box 6 is arranged in a space between the two adjacent rollers.
