Abstract:
To provide a radar device with which, of a transverse device configuration though, it is possible to realize a high antenna gain and a high azimuth resolution.SOLUTION: Provided is a radar device comprising: antenna parts 2, 3 constituted inside a circuit board 1 by a plurality of antenna elements of antenna parts 2,3 disposed in array form along a direction that intersects the forward direction, for transmitting an electromagnetic wave toward upward of board surface of the circuit board 1 and receiving its reflected wave; a reflection part 8 supported upward of board surface of the circuit board 1 inside a housing 6, for reflecting the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the antenna parts 2, 3 and converting the progression direction of the electromagnetic wave to the forward direction, as well as reflecting a reflected wave from the forward direction and converting the progression direction of the reflected wave to the antenna parts 2, 3 side; and a dielectric lens 7 of a semi-cylindrical or parabolic-cylindrical shape projecting in the forward direction, which is disposed in a window part 6a of the housing 6 so as to extend along the array direction of the plurality of antenna elements of the antenna parts 2, 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
