PURPOSE: To enable the setting of photographing conditions regardless of the shape of a human body by arranging an information input means for a person to be examined to input information containing human body measurement information of the person to be examined and a decision means to determine radiation image recording conditions containing radiation irradiating conditions and conditions of setting the position of the person to be examined in the recording of a radiation image based on the human body measurement information.
CONSTITUTION: An information input means 1 for a person to be examined retrieves and extract human body measurement information from a data base 7 of the person to be examined using information of other persons to be examined as clue. Then, a radiation image recording conditions deciding means 2 determines radiation image recording conditions containing radiation irradiation conditions and conditions of setting positions of persons to be examined in the recording of the radiation image based on the human body measurement information extracted. Then, conditions of a radiation generator 8 are set based on the radiation irradiation conditions determined. In addition, a proper photographing position of the person to be examined is set based on the conditions of setting positions of the persons to be examined determined and a photographing position lift means 5 is driven to position the person to be examined at a proper positioning.
