To provide a method for establishing connection between radio communication devices in regard to a radio communication method in which intermittent reception of a connection request signal is performed.
A radio communication device includes a first timer 17, a second timer 151, a receiver 15, a generator 14, a transmitter 13 and a controller 16. The first timer 17 periodically measures a first time interval. In the first time interval measured by the first timer 17, the second timer 151 measures a second time interval shorter than the first time interval at least once. The receiver 15 receives a first connection request frame. The generator 14 generates a response signal to the first connection request frame. The transmitter 13 transmits the response signal. The controller 16 controls the receiver 15 to be in an activated state at the second time interval measured by the second timer 151.
