The downlink capacity enhancing method for the radio communication system including a base station having an antenna array and a plurality of remote terminals being physically away from the base station comprises a step where the antenna array of the base station receives combination of signals arrived from a plurality of the remote terminals, a step where an uplink channel covariance matrix(UCCM) with respect to each of the terminals is predicated on the basis of the combination of the arrived signals, a step where a downlink channel covariance matrix(DCCM) is constructed from each UCCM, a step where a downlink weight vector of each terminal is calculated on the basis of all the UCCM and DCCM, and a step where sets of information signals are transmitted from the antenna array of the base station according to the downlink weight vector.
