Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail inspection system capable of precisely detecting a defect on a railway rail.SOLUTION: The rail inspection system includes: a sensor unit group (21) in which sensor units (21-1 to 21-N) including plural reception coils (6-1 to 6-N) and plural first oscillation coils (5A-1 to 5A-N) corresponding to the reception coils and second oscillation coils (5B-1 to 5B-N), which are arranged in a line parallel in width direction of a pair of railroad rails (100) as an inspection object; an oscillation part (33) that supplies an oscillation signal to each of the first oscillation coil and the second oscillation coil; and a detection unit group (34) which has plural detection parts (34-1 to 34-N) for detecting a first inspection signal (X) corresponding to a first phase (0°) of an output signal and a second inspection signal (Y) corresponding to a second phase (90°) of the output signal with respect to the output signals which are output from each of the reception coils when the sensor unit group moves in a direction the railroad rails are laid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
