Abstract:
To provide a range hood which can extinguish a lighting appliance so as to satisfy a requirement of a user.SOLUTION: A range hood comprises: a hood 2; an exhaust fan 3; a lighting appliance 5; an operation control part for lighting the lighting appliance, extinguishing the lighting appliance, and driving the exhaust fan; and a lighting switch 43 for lighting and extinguishing the lighting appliance. The operation control part comprises a first control mode and a second control mode, and the lighting switch can switch the control modes by performing a prescribed switching operation. In the first control mode, the lighting appliance which is lit in an operation state of the range hood is automatically extinguished simultaneously with a stop of the exhaust fan after the lapse of an extinguishment delay time after receiving a range hood operation stop signal in a state that the exhaust fan is driven, and in the second mode, the lighting appliance which is lit in the operation state of the range hood is manually extinguished irrespective of the range hood operation stop signal. The lighting appliance is extinguished by selecting a control mode of either of the first control mode and the second control mode by the switching operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
