Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the recovery of reaction products by making the mixing of reacting liquid components stronger and more rapid by a means that different kinds of reacting liquid components are interflowed and reacted on a rotary matter.

CONSTITUTION: When making a reaction between different kinds of liquids each of which has reaction rate greatly different from each other, e.g., in the case of ionic polymerization, etc., different kinds of liquids are interflowed in the vicinity of right above the center of rotation of a rotary disk or bowl, whereupon an outside force exerts on the rotary direction and the centrifugal direction of the reacting liquid components as they rotate, while a shearing force is produced in the reacting liquid layers due to a movement speed gradient caused by outside force and frictional resistance on the rotating surface and in its inside. Thus, the strong and rapid mixing of the reacting liquid components is performed and they are diffused and dropped toward the outside of the rotating surface. In this way, the reaction of liquids can be made without the use of any diffusing solvent.
