Abstract:

PURPOSE: To dispense with difficult detection of extremely low vehicle speed, and simplify a vehicle speed sensor by steering rear wheels into a negative phase to front wheels in a low vehicle speed area where vehicle speed is not more than a first prescribed value, and holding a steering angle ratio constant when the vehicle speed is not more than a second prescribed value lower than the first prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: Detecting signals of a vehicle speed sensor 13 and a front wheel steering angle detector 16 are inputted to an electronic control circuit 11, and a servo valve 6 is controlled by this electronic control circuit 11 through a servo amplifier 17, and a steering angle of rear wheels 21 and 22 is controlled through a hydraulic actuator 7. This rear wheel steering angle is detected by a displacement detecting mechanism 18, and a detecting value is fed back to the servo amplifier 17. At this time, when vehicle advance time vehicle speed is not less than a first prescribed value, the rear wheels 21 and 22 are steered into the same phase with front wheels 19 and 20 according to vehicle speed and a front wheel steering angle, and when the vehicle speed is not more than the first prescribed value, the rear wheels are steered into a negative phase to the front wheels, and particularly when the vehicle speed is not more than a second prescribed value lower than the first prescribed value, a steering angle ratio between the front and rear wheels is held constant.
