To provide study furniture allowing attachment/detachment of both-side leg bodies of a study desk, constituting the leg parts with high strength by connecting a detached leg body to the other leg body and being applicable even to a study desk especially of a type rotationally provided with an extension top board at the back part of a top board.
The study desk A is formed by fixing a box body 10 storing drawers in the under surface of the top board 1, with spaces formed in both the side parts, detachably attaching the upper parts of the leg bodies 2 to the lateral surfaces of the side boards 11 of the box body and the under surface of the top board, and detachably connecting a cross rail 4 between back-side lower parts of the both-side leg bodies. The study desk is formed by detaching one leg body and the cross rail, disposing the detached leg body at the inside back part of the other leg body along the back edge of the top board, detachably attaching the upper part of the leg body to the back board 12 of the box body and the under surface of the top board, joining and connecting grounding members 22 provided at the lower ends of both the leg bodies and connecting the side edge of the top board in the side from which the leg body is detached, to a bookshelf B.
