Abstract:
To provide a method for desulfurizing a sulfur-containing heterocyclic compound with a recombinant microorganism.
This method for desulfurizing the sulfur-containing heterocyclic compound is characterized by bringing the sulfur-containing heterocyclic compound into contact with a microorganism having an expression recombinant vector which contains a promoter free from manifestation inhibition due to an inorganic sulfur compound or a sulfur-containing amino acid and a gene for desulfurizing the sulfur-containing heterocyclic compound, or with a culture product of the microorganism to desulfurize the sulfur-containing heterocyclic compound.
