Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device taking both of easy detachability of a roll paper holder and maintenance of a mounting state of the roll paper holder into account.SOLUTION: A recording device comprises: a device main body provided with recording means performing recording on a medium; and a detachable roll holder supporting a roll where the medium is wound into the roll in a rotatable manner and being detachable with respect to the device main body. Hooks engaging with an engagement section of the device main body and a protrusion being positioned apart from the hooks and being inserted into an opening formed on a back surface of the device main body with play are provided on the roll holder. The protrusion engages with an inside of the opening when the roll holder is rotated in a direction separating from the back surface of the device main body with the engagement section as a supporting point.
