PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording liquid composition for ink jet printers which is excellent in weather resistance and water resistance and a method of recording characters and an image on a recording material.SOLUTION: A recording liquid composition for ink jet printers comprises a fluorine-containing resin (A) consisting of a copolymer (A1) containing structural units (A1-1) based on a fluoroolefin and structural units (A1-2) based on a monomer having a crosslinkable group and/or polyvinylidene fluoride (A2), a hardener (B), a colorant (C) and a medium (D).
