To provide a printer having a structure capable of forming an inclined face of a sheet in accordance with the length of prints while preventing no-feeding and damage and dirt of the prints, etc. in a method for developing the sheet on a front face floor of a printer main body.

In this recording medium storage device, the position of a sheet fixing member installed on a floor face corresponding to long prints is movable, and the inclined face is formed all the time so as not to form portions of the sheet installed on the floor face approximately in parallel. Moreover, in accordance with change of the length of the prints, the length of the sheet is changed. Thus, the inclined face of the sheet is easily formed and prints can be discharged on the inclined face.
