PURPOSE: To improve an image density and resolution by incorporating image forming elements in which the main body grain size of the image forming elements in a transfer recording layer is within a specific range and the main body grain size has the grain size within a specific value at a specific ratio or above of the entire part of the image forming elements into said elements.
CONSTITUTION: The transfer recording layer is formed of the assemblage of the image forming elements which have at least a coloring agent and the sensitive component to be sensitized by application of light energy and heat energy thereto and are solid at an ordinary temp. The sensitive component contains at least a photopolymn. initiator and a monomer, oligomer or polymer contg. unsatd. double bonds. The image forming elements in which the main body grain size of the image forming element is within a 5W25μm range and the main body grain size has the grain size within ±4μm are incorporated at ≥50 number % of the entire part of the image forming elements into said elements. The image density and resolution are thereby improved.
