Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a catalyst component for the homo-or copolymerization of olefins which has high catalytic activity and high stereoregularity and enables polymer particle diameters to be regulated in a wide range and with which polymer particles moldable as they are can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION: A solid obtained by bringing polymer particles as a carrier which have any particle diameters into contact with dihydrocarbylmagnesium and a compound having a hydrocarbyloxy group is contacted with a halogenated alcohol, and then with an electron-donating compound and a titanium compound.
