Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material which shows no decrease in sealing property.
SOLUTION: This refractory tight sealing packing material consists of at least one kind of refractory powder and/or fiber. Further, an alloy containing 5 to 50wt.% metal having smaller equilibrium oxygen partial pressure than the equilibrium oxygen partial pressure of an aluminum element and having ≥1atm vapor pressure at the use temp. of the packing material is added by 0.1 to 50wt.% to the packing material.
