Abstract:

To stably divide a flow of a refrigerant by disposing a conical refrigerant branching mechanism and a plate having guide holes of the same number as that of refrigerant outlet piping in a refrigerant flow divider body of a refrigerant flow divider used for an air conditioner or the like.

A refrigerant 4 flowing through inlet side piping 6 of the refrigerant flow divider is passed through a refrigerant flow dividing plate 8 disposed in a refrigerant flow divider body 7. In this case, the input refrigerant is collided with a conical protrusion 8a formed at a center of the dividing plate, and guided to outlet side piping 9 (9a to 9c) through guide holes 8b of the same number as the outlet side piping 9. According to this, the refrigerant of two-phase flow of unstable gas and liquid to the piping 9 can be equivalently divided. A shape of the body 7 of the outlet side is formed in a clover type to become three- or four-branches. Thus, machinability of the body 7 can be alleviated, and excellent pressure resistant strength can be assured without reducing a thickness of the body 7.
