In the cooling operation, a plurality of compression parts are connected in series to perform the compound compression, and the temperature of the refrigerant can be dropped, and the compression efficiency is improved to obtain the excellent operational efficiency. In the heating operation, a plurality of compression parts are connected in parallel, and one compression part compresses the refrigerant to the prescribed pressure to raise the temperature of the refrigerant. Thus, the operation of excellent efficiency can be obtained in the heating operation.
