Abstract:
To provide a regenerative resistor protection device that achieves cost reduction and miniaturization.
The regenerative resistor protection device includes: first and second switching elements 8, 9 for controlling energization to a regenerative resistor 14; a voltage dividing circuit 10 consisting of resistors 11, 12 and connected in parallel to the first and second switching elements 8, 9; an abnormal signal output means 5 to output an abnormal signal when a voltage of a predetermined level is continuously output from the voltage dividing circuit 10 over a predetermined time; and a switching element control means 7 to output an off-signal to the second switching element 9 based on the abnormal signal.
