Abstract:
A reinforced resinous board comprises substantially straight reinforcing threads and a cushioning fibre assembly embedded in resin cured under pressure. Crossing threads which are desirably not woven but are in separate sheets or layers are cushioned from each other by the cushioning fibres. Fibre or filament threads not usually regarded as being adequately wetted by resin can be used in this way.
