Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing method whereby a reinforcing operation involving winding a number of reinforcing fiber sheets around a concrete column can be completed in a short time.
SOLUTION: Resin-impregnated reinforcing fiber sheets are bonded to the peripheral surface of a concrete column 3 to reinforce the column 3. The plurality of reinforcing fiber sheets bonded are laminated to form a shell sheet 1c which in its middle has plate-shaped parts 1b impregnated with resin and hardened and which has remaining unimpregnated parts 1a. After the plate-shaped parts of the shell sheet 1c are bonded to the peripheral surface of the column 3 via an adhesive, the unimpregnated parts 1a are laid one on the other and bonded to the peripheral surface and are then impregnated with resin and hardened.
