Abstract:

To prevent a center axis of a latch from being displaced and improve an impact resistance by holding a side surface and top surface of a flange of a push-latch body between a first and second reinforcing plates and mounting the first and second reinforcing plates on a box body by means of a common screw.

A push-latch body 10 provided with an engaging claw 11, a flange 12, and a sliding claw 13 is fitted in a mount hole of a box body 1 and a U-shaped first reinforcing plate 40 having the same thickness as the flange 12 is mounted to a side surface of the flange 12. Next, a second reinforcing plate 50 having nearly the same shape as the plate 40, in which a notched part has a smaller width than the plate 40, is placed on the flange 12 and the plate 40 and fixed to the box body 1 by means of screws 5. And the periphery of the mount hole of the body 10 is reinforced and the center of a projection 31 provided on a cover 2 and the center of the body 10 are arranged so as to be prevented from being displaced from one another. And the plate 50 serves as a stopper for a cover 30. Thus even if the cover 2 is closed strongly so that a shock is applied to the body 10, damage to the body can be prevented.
