PURPOSE: To determine the blowoff direction of gas out of a relief valve, to be attached to a component for an air conditioner optionally as well as to reduce the cost of production.

CONSTITUTION: In an automobile a compressor or air conditioner component is installed in and around an engine 1, and provided with a relief valve 8, discharging internal gas pressure, in this compressor 2, A gas inserting passage 9 along the axial direction is formed in a shank part 8 of this relief valve 8, while a gas blowoff port 10 to be interconnected to this gas inserting passage 9 is formed on a radial wall part. Ding like this, gas is made dischargeable toward parts other than the engine without using a presser fitting of any other components. In addition, since the presser fitting of any separate component is not used, the number of setting manhours is made reducible in consequence, and shifting and falling of this gas blowoff port is made avoidable as well.
