PURPOSE: To facilitate correcting operation when a reception error takes place and to confirm quickly the reception state by discriminating the reception state of a master set and the operating state and displaying the operating state causing an error onto a remote control display section.

CONSTITUTION: A remote controller 1 stores an operation signal (a) in a storage circuit 6, an optical signal is sent from a transmission section 18 based on the signal (a), the master set 7 uses a reception section 19 to receive this signal and store it and a return section 20 sends a state signal to the remote controller 1 based on this signal. The signal from the master set 7 is compared with the operation signal (a) stored before by a instruction control circuit 4 of the remote controller 1 and when the contents are coincident, a signal to operate an operating device 11 of the master set 7 is outputted to the transmission section 18, and when they are not coincident, a signal to display the content causing an error is outputted to the display section 17. When the operator confirms the error location displayed on the display section 17, the re-operation is executed immediately.
