Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out exact operations for removing the weft inserted in a missed manner by making the braking motion of the weft yarn brake ineffective, while the weft yarn remains on the metering drum, when weft insertion is missed, and unreeling the one pick length of the weft yarn on the metering drum smoothly and steadily.
CONSTITUTION: When the blow nozzle 9 and the sucking pipe 13 are actuated in the yarn remover for mat-inserted weft yarn, the yarn and the following yarn wound around the metering drum are unreeled and sucked off. During the operation, the braking motion by the weft brake K2 is made ineffective to ensure the yarn remaining on the drum to be unreeled and the brake K2 is made effective 2 after completion of unreeling.
