Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain reproduction without error by binarizing a reproduction signal with two different slice levels, extracting the change point of each binary signal. generating two change point signals so as to OR the change point signals. CONSTITUTION:A slice level generating circuit 2 generates two slice levels S1,S2 set above and under a ground level based on a reproduction signal inputted from an operational amplifier 1. Comparators 3,4 compare a signal B with the levels S1,S2 and output binary signals C,E binarized depending on the quantity of the level of the signal B. Change point extraction circuits 5,6 extract the change point from the signals C,E and output change point signals D,F having a pulse rising at the change point. An OR gate 7 ORs the signals D,F and outputs a change point signal G having a pulse corresponding to the change point of a mark string. A D flip-flop 8 outputs a binary signal H having a pulse corresponding to the size of each mark of the bark string from a terminal Q based on the signal G.
