PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition excellent in impact resistance, in chemical resistance, in moldability, in heat resistance, in gas barrier property, in adhesion with metals, and especially in flavor conservation, and to provide a resin film comprising the resin composition, a resin-coated metal sheet coated with the resin film, and a resin-coated metal container formed of the resin-coated metal sheet.
SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises a polyester resin (A) and a vinyl polymer (B) containing ≥1 mass% of polar group-containing units, with 100 pts.wt. of the resin composition containing 0.001-7 pts.mass of a radical inhibitor. It is preferred that a rubber-like elastic resin (C) be finely dispersed into the polyester resin (A) and that at least part of the rubber-like elastic resin (C) be encapsulated in the vinyl polymer (B). The resin film uses the resin composition, the resin-coated metal sheet is coated with the resin film, and the resin-coated metal container is formed of the resin-coated metal sheet. The resin film is an article using the resin composition, the resin-coated metal sheet is an article coated with the resin film, and the resin-coated metal container is an article formed of the resin-coated metal sheet.
